For 35kv cable joints, ethylene propylene rubber self-adhesive tape is generally wrapped on the cable insulation surface as a transition layer. The connector housing is usually provided by the factory, and the metal shielding layer in the housing should be reliably connected with the cable shielding layer at both ends.
　　If mold casting is used, semi-conductive self-adhesive tape shall be used to wrap the insulating surface of the joint after demoulding, and then shield copper mesh shall be applied. The copper mesh shall be reliably connected with the cable shielding layer at both ends. Then, install the connector bridge wire and the connector outer protective layer (usually heat shrinkable sheath).
　　The correct casting process operation has a great impact on the performance of cable accessories, so special attention should be paid. First of all, check whether the casting agent used exceeds the storage period (there are instructions on the package). Before pouring, the two components of the casting agent should be fully stirred evenly, and then slowly poured from the pouring point to avoid bubbles.
　　There are three main levels of applicable standards for cable accessories:
